Charmail<br /> <br /> Chateau Charmail as we know it today came to be in 1980 when Olivier Seze purchased the Haut Medoc estate. Today it spans 22.5 hectares not far from Chateau Sociando Mallet on a mix of clay and gravel soils, the former which allows for a high percentage of high quality merlot in the blend.
